Roland de Mei
Roland de Mei was born in Roermond, The Netherlands on June 8, 1966, grew up in Curaçao where he finished his high school. After finishing his high school he left for the Netherlands where he attended several courses, amongst which NIMA-A, MBA and the SPD Daycourse in Arnhem(Bachelor in accounting). Ronnie has over 10 years experience in the international finance sector. He fulfilled the position as an accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Arthur Andersen. In 1997 he established his own Accounting and Management Company, during which period he has been actively involved as an accountant for both onshore- and offshore companies, amongst which several multinational Trust offices. Specialties within his terrain are: Design and setup of accounting systems, E-commerce based trading, international transactional banking services, and the set up of international corporate structures. In 1999 he was offered a senior management position at one of the largest multinational trust offices on the island at which organization he held that position till 2004. Ronnie has also been active as a member of the supervisory board a local industrial company as well as holding the treasury position for a local pensionfund. Ronnie enjoys Golf, fishing and boating.
