| Past & Current Engagements Setting up Gerling NCM, the first Credit Insurer in the Netherlands Antilles De Sola & Kluyver – Financial Solutions was appointed by Gerling NCM in The Netherlands to become their official representative and to set up a branch of the company in the Netherlands Antilles. After receiving all the necessary permits (a.o. from the Central Bank), two of the partners were appointed Managing Directors of this new insurance company in the Netherlands Antilles. Gerling NCM Credit Finance AG is the world’s most extensive credit insurance service network with a presence in 40 countries, a global market share of 25%, and revenues of more than 2 billion Euros. The company insures against the risk of non-payment of goods and services by customers and covers both export and domestic sales whereby commercial and political risks can be covered. Activities of De Sola & Kluyver – Financial Solutions included: making a business plan; structuring the partnership; introducing Gerling NCM to the local Government, Central Bank and business society; obtaining a license from the Central Bank and Government; setting up a management company; hire personnel; operational set up of the new venture; official introduction and kick off of the insurance company in the Netherlands Antilles.
